Hi everyone

We hope you had a nice weekend and are all continuing to stay safe and well. As always this is a list of suggested activities for this week. Do what you can and if you’d like to email us pictures of your work we would love to see them!! If you have managed to collect your books and copies from school you can work away on finishing them. Choose two pages from each book per day.

Don't forget to get your 'Junior School Memory' pictures to us by Friday. Look at the home page for full details!

If you have any questions for us please don’t hesitate to email us and ask. Please tell the boys and girls that we miss them lots and can’t wait to see them again soon.

Today we would like you to plan a recount for yourself. Here’s what you need to do:

1.            Write out the 5 Recount headings on your paper.
Like this….

2.          Think about something you have done in the past. Remember, what I’ve written is MY recount, not yours. You must think of your own!

3.          Fill in your plan with words you will need to write your recount. Like this…..

Maths: The topic we want you to look at this week is ‘Weight’.
We measure things using grams (g) and kilograms (kg)

Have a look for items in your kitchen presses and fridge. Read how many grams or kilograms are in them

Just like shapes and numbers we can divide kilograms in halves and quarters.

There are 2 half kg in 1 kg

Try answer these questions, either by talking with an adult at home or by writing the answers on to a page.

Irish: Try writing these sentences on to your page

SESE: Choose a country of the world to make a short project about in your scrapbook or on to a page.

Remember to include a drawing of a map of your country and the flag.

Write down at least 5 fun facts about the country too.
